How accurate are the translations?

Hinto’s tap-to-translate is a reliable dictionary lookup, not a generative AI that can be confidently wrong. When you tap a word, you get the meaning that fits the sentence — a fixed, trustworthy answer that also works offline.

That said, language is nuanced, and a couple of honest points:

The design choice here is deliberate: for the moment you need to simply trust an answer — “what does this word mean, right now” — a fixed lookup is safer than a generative guess that might invent something. For open-ended practice and explanation, a chatbot is great; for reliable in-place lookups while you read and listen, reliability wins.
