Word lookups work offline. Tap-to-translate runs on your device, so you can tap any word and see its meaning with no internet at all. This is a big deal for a learning app — you’re never blocked by a dead connection mid-episode.
Content can be downloaded. Save podcasts, videos or books for offline use before you travel, and they’re there without a signal.
So a typical offline session — a flight, say — works fully: your downloaded content plays or opens, every word is still tappable, and the words you save sync up next time you’re online.
