Thier Professor of the Practice of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Professor of the Practice at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. </p> <p dir="ltr">Dr. Gawande was Assistant Administrator for Global Health at USAID from 2022-2025.
