Your level in Hinto isn’t fixed — you can change it whenever you like, and you should as you improve.
To change your level: open settings and adjust your CEFR level. The content Hinto shows you updates to match.
When to change it:
- Move up when your current content feels effortless — if you understand nearly everything without tapping, you’ve outgrown that level.
- Move down if content feels like a wall of noise. That’s not a failure; it just means you’re above your comfortable range, and dropping a level makes learning faster, not slower.
The target is always the same: content you understand about 70–80% of. That’s where you learn fastest — enough new to grow, enough familiar to follow.
