Hinto is built around learning at your level — content you understand about 70–80% of. So knowing your CEFR level (A1 to C2) is what lets the app show you content that actually fits.
To find your level:
- If you already know your level, set it in the app and you’re done.
- If you’re not sure, you can take our free English level test — about 24 quick questions that place you on the CEFR scale in a few minutes.
A rough guide:
- A1–A2 (beginner): you know common words and simple sentences.
- B1–B2 (intermediate): you follow clear speech and read real books with effort.
- C1–C2 (advanced): you understand fast, natural English and read almost anything.
Don’t overthink it — the level just sets your starting point. If content feels too hard, drop a level; if it’s too easy, go up. The right level is where you almost keep up.
