Vance Delays Swiss Trip for Iran Talks

The US and Iran have postponed the start of their negotiations over a permanent peace deal and restricting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program. It’s unclear why the talks, meant to be held in Switzerland on Friday, have been delayed. On Thursday, US Vice President JD Vance told reporters at a briefing he believed the technical talks would begin at some point this weekend and that he would travel to Switzerland.
