Architect Je Ahn's re-made barn on the Isle of Wight

In collaboration with Aesop, we're exploring what home and hosting means to different people. For this episode, we travelled to the Isle of Wight to spend time with the architect and founding director of Studio Weave, Je Ahn. A keen sailor, Je has been spending time in Cowes for many years. In 2020, he began re-making a barn that acts as a foil to his hectic Hackney life. He loves to open this house to guests, who typically stay for a few days, enabling a certain kind of slow, relaxed entertaining, where everyone can settle into each other’s company. “I really like spending time with people. I find the ‘me time’ concept slightly odd," he says.
