Greenock, a Scottish town to the west of Glasgow, is losing residents quickly. It’s in Inverclyde, the population of which has fallen by 22,000 people since 1981, making it Scotland's hardest-hit area for population decline. The issue has become so pressing that the council is implementing a repopulation strategy, part of which involves attracting migrants and people who have been granted refugee status. BBC Correspondent Michael Buchanan travelled to Greenock to hear from migrants, refugees, local residents and politicians about the future of a town trying to grow again.
