Sobre este episodio
The beach flag system is a way of indicating the safety conditions of the water and the beach. It helps you to avoid potential hazards and enjoy your time at the beach. Not all countries use the same flags or have the same meanings for them. In some countries, such as the USA and Canada, there are more than four colours of flags, such as brown for rip currents or double red for water closed. Therefore, it is important to check the local signs and flags before entering the water in a any country. What do the different colours mean ? Do all countries follow the same rules ? What other flags might you see in the UK ? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! To listen to the last episodes, you can click here: How can you secure your home before leaving on holiday?
