About this video

Born in the concrete underbelly of London’s Southbank Centre and today a global fashion phenomenon, Palace Skateboards has always been about more than the clothes. Now, as a guest editor of the Wallpaper* October issue, the cult streetwear brand opens up the collaborative ecosystem of creatives that has evolved with it to mount a thrilling takeover. Founders Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis – who launched the brand in 2009 with T-shirts worn by the Palace Wayward Boys Choir – turn the lens away from themselves, inviting 17 friends and collaborators from across the worlds of skating, fashion, art and music into the pages of Wallpaper*. Together, they offer a closer look at those who have shaped Palace’s world and its ‘come one, come all’ spirit. As Tanju puts it, ‘Palace is for everyone.’ Find Palace’s guest editor cover on newsstands now – alongside covers by fellow guest editors Es Devlin and Carrie Mae Weems – and meet the 17 featured creatives at the link in bio.
