About this video

Dr. Jonathan Marsh believes the future of Alzheimer’s care will be shaped by prevention. In his talk, Dr. Marsh explores advances that could change Alzheimer’s from a disease of aging into a disease that can be prevented. From GLP-1 medications and monoclonal antibodies currently in use, to vaccines and new inhaled therapies now in development, these breakthroughs raise a striking possibility: that within a decade, Alzheimer’s may no longer define the future for millions. After training at Clemson University and earning his MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, where Dr. Jonathan Marsh also completed his Internal Medicine residency, he moved to Naples, Florida in 2012 and became a serial entrepreneur in healthcare. He founded Naples Concierge Health to move beyond the constraints of traditional fee-for-service models, creating space for innovation, patient education, and preventive care. Today, he continues to lead Naples Concierge Health, guided by the belief that science and proactive care can help eradicate the world’s most feared diseases. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
