Leading Beyond Logic | Ishaan Kiran Mithra | TEDxChinmaya Vidyalaya Attukal Youth
Open in Hinto About this video
Good leadership is often associated with planning, efficiency and achieving results. But technical knowledge and logical thinking alone are not enough to guide people effectively. This talk explores the balance between logic and emotion, management and empathy, and results and relationships. It shows how understanding different perspectives, communicating with compassion and valuing diverse strengths can transform the way teams work together. True leadership is not about choosing between clarity and compassion. It is about bringing both together to create meaningful and lasting impact. An analytical high school student pursuing law, Ishaan Kiran Mithra loves finding the unexpected connections between technology, leadership, and human behavior. From coding to public speaking, they have always operated at the intersection of logic and structure. However, through their hands-on experiences managing school events and collaborative projects, they realized that true impact requires more than just a result-oriented mindset. Taking the stage at TEDx Chinmaya Vidyalaya Attukal Youth, Ishaan dives into the vital balance between technical management and human empathy. Their talk explores how embracing diverse passions allows us to navigate the tension between logic and emotion, ultimately helping the next generation lead with both clarity and compassion. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
