Open in Hinto About this video
Life can take unexpected turns and sometimes things may not go the way we want. This talk shares simple and funny stories about running, failure, friendship, and growing a plant to show that we should not give up when things get difficult. Instead, we should learn from our experiences, try again, and keep moving forward. When life takes a turn, we should “turn the turn” and make the best of it. Dia Manoj Kumar Bhat is a 12-year-old student who is passionate about learning, exploring new ideas, and making the most of every opportunity. Science is one of her favourite subjects, and she enjoys challenging herself both inside and outside the classroom. An A+ student, she has been honoured with her school's Academic Excellence Award. Beyond academics, Dia enjoys playing tennis, working out, playing the piano, singing, dancing, and participating in school activities, clubs, and competitions. She has earned recognition at the national, state, and international levels through Abacus competitions and has also received awards for singing and dancing. Dia enjoys collaborating with others, embracing new challenges, and learning from every experience. Being a TEDx speaker has been an incredible opportunity to share her ideas with a wider audience. She hopes to inspire young people to work hard, stay curious, and believe in their potential. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
